About the Third Tone Project
Born of a desire to bring more healing to our world, Evan created acoustic binaural tones and Lisa linked them to brain body oscillations that invite organ systems to restore balance within themselves and, thereby, in the body. Lisa and Evan share their tones with those who are in need of resolution of chronic conditions, experience acute body sensations., or seek deeper connection with their embodiment.
Third Tone delves into the intriguing intersection of auditory perception and physiological response through the application of binaural tones (also known as binaural ‘beats’). By presenting two slightly different frequencies to each ear, binaural tones create auditory illusions that have the potential to influence brainwave activity and synchronize neural oscillations with the resting frequencies of other organs, such as the stomach and heart. We know that this synchronization can impact psychological and physical well-being, as well as the phenomenon of human interconnection.
